How to take care of your leather bracelet?
As you know, our watches are universal – these words therefore concern all of you, men and women – and are dressed with a leather strap which brings elegance and comfort.
However, after a while, the bracelet can become clogged, in particular because of microdust, contact with our skin and other handling.
In order to prolong the happiness of the first days, we are going to give you some tips for caring for your bracelet.
Our advice for taking care of your leather bracelet
- Avoid folding the leather
A watch strap is put on and removed from the wrist. It is therefore essential not to bend it. Each sudden movement is an attack on the bracelet, and it is through these repeated attacks that the leather becomes damaged.
Remember that leather is a noble and fragile material, so let's treat it with respect, softness and delicacy.
- Avoid humidity
Water, alcohol (who has never had a drink spilled on them?), sweating, and other liquid or simply damp elements are really not leather's friends. So let's avoid the swimming pool, the sea or simply sport. However, no one is safe from unforeseen events, in which case, leave your bracelet to dry in a dry place.
- Leather needs nourishment
Leather is a living material, which evolves over the days. Just like our skin, it needs to be nourished to prevent it from drying out and cracking. Our little advice? A dab of Saphir universal cream from time to time - another special nourishing leather cream will also do the trick.
- Change bracelet regularly
Last advice to prolong your shared happiness, do not hesitate to vary the pleasures and alternate different bracelets. We also have a selection, which can be changed quickly at home...
So, with all these tips, you should be able to preserve your bracelet for a while, and above all, if you have any doubts, don't hesitate to ask us!
