Beaubleu and Jean Rousseau present Flat White, a capsule collection that reinterprets the traditional codes of the alligator strap through a selection of leathers usually overlooked for their irregular textures and unique character.
In the world of alligator straps, the most regular scales have long been preferred by manufacturers. As a result, parts from the flank and head, with their less regular scales, were often set aside, despite possessing a strong and distinctive character.
With Flat White, Beaubleu and Jean Rousseau restore the nobility of a freer aspect of the material. More pronounced textures, more vibrant patterns, and irregularities that become a true signature here.
Available in two interpretations, Round Scales and Mixed Scales, Flat White offers a different perspective on the alligator strap. A perspective where character gladly takes precedence over uniformity.
A material with stories to tell
Each strap reveals a unique design shaped by the natural textures of the leather.
To complement this expression of the material, the collection adopts a deliberately understated construction: flat profile, clean cut, and discreet stitching. On the reverse side, a blue Alcantara (you can't make this up) finishes the strap for a soft and flexible wear.
